| Themed Trackless Trolleys were
born in 1964 by R.B. "Mac" McFadden, Founder of Cable Car
Concepts. At the time he had been in the fun business for 35
years designing rides for amusement parks and world fairs.
He wanted to design a vehicle that put the fun back into
transportation. A vehicle that was fun to ride, bright, open
and airy, with a quality of craftsmanship and attention to
detail, one that was versatile and had nostalgic appeal as
well. What developed from this was a themed trackless
trolley.
In 1997 Cable Car Concepts became part of the Great
American Trolley Co. who has over 20 years of trolley
experience. This operating experience added maintainability
and durability to the existing beauty of the Cable Car's
designs. |
